From 3 to 17 June 2007 we remind you that the notion of reuse is deeply embedded at Vitsœ.
“Environmentally responsible doesn’t have to mean horsehair shirts and dirt-covered vegetables. It can manifest itself in cute, clever and highly desirable forms. Today, we just need to take the time to invest in fewer of the right items, rather than throwing away more of the wrong ones.”
So wrote Wallpaper* magazine in its editorial of January 2007. It went on to describe that Vitsœ has been “producing sustainable design that works well, looks good and makes sense” for some while.
During London’s Sustainability Weeks we are showing that it is not only our shelving system that can used and reused but that this mentality extends throughout Vitsœ: your shelves are delivered in reused cardboard wraps; your cabinets come in meticulously-designed reusable cabinet bags; and our immaculate diecast aluminium components are transported from our suppliers in solid-wood reusable stillages.
Reuse it; add to it; rearrange it; take it with you when you move. It’s just common sense.
