IDEA BOOKS Pop-Up Bookstore in association with Vitsœ

Vintage book collectors Angela Hill and David Owen opened a Pop-Up Bookstore to sell their extensive selection of previously unseen books and magazines.

Under the title IDEA BOOKS and working in association with Vitsœ, the shop is open at St Martins Lane Hotel, London.

 

“Angela and I wouldn’t actually have wanted to open a bookstore without Vitsœ shelving. It was part of the plan for years before this space at St Martins Lane and this idea for a Pop-Up store came about.”

Angela’s collection of art books and vintage fashion magazines can usually be found at Dover Street Market and Colette.

Selling books on the fields of design, art, fashion and photography, the selection of titles available range from £10 to £5000.

The works, sought out by the devoted Hill over the years, include photography from David Hamilton and Andreas Gursky, fashion from Avant Mode and Ritz and architecture by Archigram and Site.
