The studio of Giles Round at the Serpentine Gallery

Closes 25 April 2010

Richard Hamilton has long held Dieter Rams’ work in high esteem and so it seemed fitting to be approached by London artist Giles Round for his studio project within the Richard Hamilton: Modern Moral Matters exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery.

We are delighted to be involved in Round’s studio installation and witness our humble shelving system become part of his artistic vision. The Studio of Giles Round brings together new and previous works characterised by his trademark geometric structures, monochromatic panels, lights and typographic schemes.

It is a project developed from the artist’s practice and interest in the interaction of structure and ornament and creates a space not only for the production of new work but also for research, discussion & social interaction; all set against the backdrop of a handsome shelving system.
