Art of Reason

26 September 2006

Moss-620launch-242-006

“All too much of the manmade is an ugly, inefficient, depressing chaos”

These are the words that greet you when you arrive at the Moss gallery, 152 Greene Street, New York. With typical stridency, Murray Moss both provokes and reveres with his exhibition, ‘Art of Reason’, that celebrates Dieter Rams and his work. Rams was in New York for the opening in September.

Teaming the wood of the Campana brothers’ wall with Michele De Lucchi’s hand-hewn architectural models and hundreds of pine and plywood books on lots of shelves, Murray Moss has again surpassed himself.

The exhibition runs until 5 November. Visit if you can. Or explore Moss’s website.
