Showroom opened at Kaiserhofstraße, Frankfurt

Long before vitsoe.com was established, Vitsœ in Frankfurt opened its doors to the public.
Nearly 12 years after the company was established, Niels Vitsœ opened his first shop on Kaiserhofstraße to display the entire Vitsœ collection.
Both an office and a showroom, Kaiserhofstraße was frequented by the design glitterati of Frankfurt. Niels hosted impromptu parties after the doors closed and celebrated his 80th birthday behind those doors in the time that the shop was there.
When Vitsœ moved its production to the UK and contemplated a shop in London’s West End, inspiration was taken from Kaiserhofstraße. In 2004, 72 Wigmore Street opened its doors ready to repeat the success of Kaiserhofstraße.
